Our Approach to Handmade Products

Our markets are dedicated to supporting independent artists, makers and small businesses who put their own creativity, time and skills into the products they sell.

To help us maintain this focus, we are currently unable to accept applications for stalls primarily selling:

3D-printed products, including items produced using purchased or downloaded designs.
AI-generated artwork, including AI-created images reproduced as prints, cards or other products.

We acknowledge that technology can play a part in the creative process. However, our priority is to support original, personally created artwork and handmade products.

We understand that these guidelines may mean our markets aren't suitable for every business, and we appreciate your understanding.

We accept registrations for handmade, artisan traders. We do not accept resale/bulk/third party manufactured goods.

South Central Makers is focused on local, handmade, artisan and small-batch work. We review applications to ensure a balanced mix of stalls and to keep the market aligned with its handmade ethos. Some product types may be limited or declined where they are primarily mass-produced, bought-in, 3D printed novelty items, or too similar to existing traders.
