Romsey Makers Market – Outside Market only.

The Final Market of the year is our Christmas market – this one is done by application as we anticipate getting higher than normal requests. Once all applications are in, we will be letting all applicants know as soon as possible (latest early October) so that those who have been unsuccessful can apply elsewhere.

We have 23 spaces available.

*please note – weights must be at least 15kg each leg*

Set-up from 7.15am and no later than 8.30am for 10am start.

Tear-down is from 3.00pm. Please do not pack away before this unless otherwise agreed.

£30 per 3x3m space – with your own gazebo, tables and chairs.

You will need to bring your own gazebo, weights and sides as necessary.

Parking is Free on a Sundays in Romsey. There is parking around the town along the streets (with the exception of The Cornmarket) There are several car parks, around by the Abbey (Council Car park) in Bell Street, Newton Road car park, car parks by the bus station and in Alma Road and off Latimer Street. Aldi car-park is a private car park and is therefore not free on a Sunday and only has a 2 hour stay.

*Please note – the booking form is your booking request only, it is not confirmation of your booking and does not guarantee your space, you will have a follow-up email which will confirm if your booking has been successful.

Romsey is a market town with an abbey dating back to 903AD. There are regular markets on Tuesday, Saturday and of course our Sunday Makers Markets.

There is free parking on a Sunday in all the main car parks (not including the Aldi car park or Cornmarket). There’s plenty to see and do, including the Romsey visitor centre, King John’s House, Romsey signal box and more.

Plenty to eat and drink within the town with a wide range of coffee shops, cafés and pubs/bars.

When we have our markets, you’ll find us in the Piazza in Market Place and when we have a lot of makers we will also be in the Cornmarket by Bradbeers.
