My name is Kathryn and I work with eco silver which is 100% recycled silver. I create nature inspired pieces of jewellery from organic forms such as shells, fossils and acorns which I have collected myself. A mould is made allowing for all the detail of the original item to be reproduced in solid silver. Each piece is finished, refined and polished by hand. What started as a hobby quickly became more than that when people started to ask where I had bought my jewellery. Once they found out that I had made it they wanted to know if I sold my work, so that is what I started to do. Studio4ty3 was born in 2019 when I left my job as a teacher and decided to focus more on looking after my mental health. The name of the studio is based on an old university joke between friends.
