I hope these few images will give you a glimpse of the mindful simplicity and skills-based ethos that underpin my hand spun yarn business.

I’m Liz, a Yorkshire-born, Wiltshire-based spinner and textile artist.

♻️ I LOVE yarn but I HATE waste, so I spin locally sourced fibres with sustainable textile waste to create eye-catching and interesting art yarns.

I use these yarns to crochet and knit bohemian inspired hats and neckwear.

To allow my yarn to stand out I keep the designs and styles minimal and functional.

I also use my yarn, blended fibres and fleeces to create mixed media art pieces, and woven and felted rugs.

I’m very passionate about informing and inspiring others to become involved in creative textile production and keep traditional skills alive, so I create spinning kits and offer tuition and workshops at my Tail of Yarn Studio, based in a quirky old cheese dairy on the Wiltshire/New Forest border.
