Whinwhistle Home

Whinwhistle Home was created out of a desire to restore unwanted antique and vintage pieces, divert them from landfill, and make them relevant and useable in our busy modern-day lives. Ranging from upholstered antique Victorian armchairs, Edwardian chests of drawers and mid-century coffee tables through to contemporary soft furnishings and decorative items, everything is salvaged, repurposed or discard from design houses. Using upholstery, woodworking and reimagineering skills, I create one-off, unique, affordable and useable prices for your home that I hope you will love for years to come.

I created Whinwhistle Home after my career in the Royal Navy was cut short through injuries sustained on active duty. Seeking a complete change, I wanted to do something creative, useful and good for the environment. I have small children, horses and dogs so I know that furniture that will stand up to family life is vital, so you can be sure that all of my items are up to the challenges of life, just as they have been for the last 5 decades+!
