South Central Makers are brilliant 🤩 I’ve been trading with them in Romsey for about 3 years now and I can highly recommend. Kate and her team are all super friendly, well organised and bend over backwards to accommodate stall holders needs. The markets have a great atmosphere and are always fun to be at. Communication is always prompt and supportive especially for those of us who are not as tech savvy as we should be (thanks Kate and Mike!) There’s always a great variety of stalls with talented, friendly makers and something different to see on every visit

Thank you for a really lovely day on Saturday - I enjoyed it so much! Everyone was really welcoming and friendly, the venue was perfect and all of the information was clear. I've been trading with South Central Makers for a few years now. The markets are always very well organised with lay outs of stalls well thought out. Communication with Kate is always quick and super helpful. She supports each and every maker at the market, and does great extra activities for special events. I had a stall at what I believe was the first craft fair of the year for South Central Makers. As indeed, it was my first as well. Excellent day with excellent and friendly people, both the organisers and fellow traders. There was a slow but steady flow of public and although the site was small, there was still enough room for each trader to display their wares. 15 stands in all with a good spread of products. I believe everybody did well. I had a good day selling 19 of my novels in total. A fine day out!

As a trader with South Central Makers I can happily say that they are the best people to trade with. They truly care about their traders, and keep everyone fully informed, and also ensure that each event is advertised and each trader gets a photo published of what they are selling. Always friendly, always helpful I cannot recommend them highly enough, 5 plus stars from me :)

Makers markets and online maker directory

South Central Makers is a small, family-run business for local artists, crafters, makers and bakers to sell their products and the perfect place to find all your gifts and treats in the Hampshire and Test Valley area.

With outdoor markets in Romsey on the first Sunday of each month* between March and December, indoor markets monthly in Stockbridge Town Hall from February and Makers and Vintage markets three times a year at Bishop's Waltham, our events are always appreciated. With the added bonus of having regular treats from artisan bakers, we've become well-known for providing a fabulous array of makes and bakes!

All our market dates are listed on our events page.

One of our biggest benefits is that we carefully plan our markets so that there is a good variety of makers, and that similar traders are not too close to each other.
